This collaboration with ISCREAMCOLOUR represents a shared mission to empower people through art. I came across ISCREAMCOLOUR on Instagram during the pandemic. I was drawn to the art, and how the artist, Humberto Cruz took a joyous approach to reframing challenging topics through his designs. We decided to combine forces and create some truly unique women’s handbags inspired by the brand’s home, New York City. Designed to bring you joy, the AK X ISCREAMCOLOUR collection was created using multiple different forms of artistic techniques from watercolor to embroidery, screen printing and crochet. MEET HUMBERTO

Humberto Cruz is an illustrator and graphic designer based in San Diego, CA. Influenced by pop culture, fashion and color, he describes his work as spontaneous, quirky, fun and enthusiastic. He primarily works with pastels, markers and spray paint and focuses on digital media from initial concept development, to art creation.
