Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

AIMEE by Aimee Kestenberg is committed to ensuring our website, aimeekestenberg.com, is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.

Where We Are

We have recently begun a formal accessibility review of our website. We have identified a number of areas that need improvement — including button labels for screen readers, color swatch labeling on product pages, and our cookie consent experience — and are actively working with our development team to address them. We are committed to making meaningful progress and will update this page as we do.

Known Limitations

While we work to improve accessibility across the site, the following issues are currently known:

  • Icon buttons (such as the search, cart, and account icons in the header, as well as drawer close buttons and carousel navigation) may not have descriptive labels readable by screen readers. We are in the process of adding aria-label attributes to these elements.
  • Color swatches on product cards currently rely on color alone to communicate options. We are working to add text labels so all users can identify color options regardless of color vision ability.
  • Third-party tools embedded on the site (such as email marketing and search tools) may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We are reviewing these integrations.

Technical Approach

We are working toward the following accessibility standards and practices:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance
  • Meaningful text alternatives for all non-text content
  • Keyboard navigability throughout the site
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
  • Clear, descriptive labels for all interactive controls
  • Screen reader compatibility across key shopping flows
